Ohma is based in Gawler, at the top of greater Adelaide. Salisbury, Elizabeth, Mawson Lakes and the roads between them are not pins on a map to us, they are a short drive down the highway. Our first case study is City Nails & Beauty, a salon we built for in Cairns, which is a long way from Salisbury and we will say so plainly.
It opened with no website at all. In its first month online, with no ad spend and no head start, it reached #2 on Google for its main local search, drew over 200 clicks straight from search, and got named by ChatGPT when people asked for a nearby salon. Those figures come from Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

- Where are you actually based?
- In Gawler, at the top of greater Adelaide. We are not going to pin down a street address here, but this is genuinely where we live and work.
- I'm in a suburb you didn't list. Do you still cover my area?
- Almost certainly. The list is just the areas we build for most often, not a boundary. If you are anywhere in the northern suburbs, or nearby, just get in touch and we will confirm we can help, which is very likely yes.
- How does ranking for my specific suburb work?
- Google decides who to show a local searcher using signals from your website, your Google Business Profile and how consistent your details are across the web. We tune all three around your suburb and the ones next to it, so when someone nearby searches for what you do, you are in the running to be the name they see first.
- Do you only do the website, or the SEO too?
