Win the “barber near me” search, then the walk-in.

A bloke deciding where to get a cut is standing on a footpath with his phone out. He wants to know you are open, what a cut costs, and whether he can just walk in. We build the site and the Google listing that answer all three before he taps anyone else. And it goes on fielding those questions while you are mid-cut, so you are not setting the clippers down to reach for the phone.

What's costing you.

The gaps below are the ones we see over and over in this trade. Each is a customer who was ready to book and quietly went somewhere clearer instead.

  1. The whole decision happens on Google Maps

Barbering is about as local as it gets. People do not research a barber for a week, they search “barber near me”, glance at who is open, who is close and who has decent reviews, and walk in. If your Google listing is thin, unclaimed or missing photos, you lose that customer to the shop three doors down before your website ever loads. The map is the battleground, and most barbers are not fighting for it.

  2. Walk-in or booking? Nobody can tell

Some shops are strictly walk-in, some run a chair on appointments, plenty do both. When that is not spelled out, you get the wrong customer at the wrong time: a bloke turning up expecting to wait when you are booked solid, or ringing to book when you would happily have taken him on the spot. Clarity on how you actually run the chair saves you and him the friction.

  3. Wrong hours cost you the trust and the trip

There is nothing that burns a first-time customer faster than driving over on the strength of your Google hours and finding the roller door down. Public holidays, late nights before a long weekend, an early close for a footy final, these drift out of date the moment you stop updating them. One wasted trip and that person does not come back, and they might leave a review saying so.

  4. “How much for a cut?” asked forty times a week

Cut, cut and beard, skin fade, kids, pensioner rate. When the prices are not posted anywhere findable, you or your barbers answer the same question all day, and some customers simply will not ask, they will assume it is dear and go elsewhere. A clear price board online does the answering for you and filters out the tyre-kickers.

What you get.

Every build is set up properly from day one and looked after month to month. Here is what that looks like for your trade.

A Google Business Profile that wins the map

We claim and properly set up your Google Business Profile, the listing that shows in the map pack when someone searches nearby. Categories, services, hours, photos and directions all done right, because for a barbershop that listing pulls more first-time customers than the website itself. This is the single highest-leverage thing we do for a barber.

Opening hours that stay honest

We make your hours obvious on the site and set up your Google listing so they show in search too. On the care plan, a message from you about a public holiday or an early close on grand final day gets updated the same day, so nobody ever drives over to a closed shop on the strength of bad information.

A clean, scannable price board

Cut, fade, cut and beard, kids, pensioner, we lay your prices out like the board on the wall, plain and quick to read on a phone. It kills the “how much” question, sets the expectation before someone walks in, and reads well to Google when people search for a cut and a price.

Walk-in and booking, made crystal clear

We say plainly how you run the chair. If you are walk-in only, the site tells people to just come in and roughly when it is quiet. If you take bookings, we link your booking tool in with a click-to-call button. If you do both, we make the choice obvious so the right customer arrives the right way.

Fast, phone-first, and one tap to the door

The site is built to load in a blink on mobile data, because your customer is standing outside deciding right now. Tap-to-call and tap-for-directions sit on every page, so the distance from finding you to standing in your shop is as short as we can make it.

Words and photos that make the shop look sharp

Copywriting is included, so we write the shop's story and services in a voice that matches the place. We lay out your photos, the fit-out, the barbers, the work, so a first-timer knows what they are walking into before they push the door.

Proof

Local search is exactly what we build for

Getting a local business to the top of the map and the “near me” search is the core of what we do. Our City Nails & Beauty build, a brand-new salon in Earlville, hit #2 on Google for its main local search inside a month from nothing, purely because the site and the Google listing were built to be found. A barbershop lives or dies on that same local search, only more so, because almost nobody books a barber a week out. We have not published a barbershop case study yet, so we will not pretend otherwise, but the approach that got a new salon to the top of its suburb is the approach we would bring to your shop.

What a barbershop site costs

Most single-shop barbers do brilliantly on Get Found at $2,900, which covers up to five pages, the copywriting, and your Google profile set up for you. If you want dedicated service and location pages or ongoing SEO, Get Booked at $4,900 is the step up. The build is a one-off, and the care plan that hosts the site and keeps your hours and prices honest is optional and month to month with no minimum term. Most shops keep it for the peace of mind, and since your domain and email are yours from day one, if you ever walk you keep the full site files at no charge.

Common questions.

Straight answers on how we build for your trade. Still stuck, book a call and ask us anything.

I only do walk-ins. Do I even need a website?

Yes, and mostly for Google. A walk-in shop lives on the “barber near me” search, and to win that you need a proper Google Business Profile and a fast site behind it with your hours, prices and directions. The website is what tells a stranger you are open, close and worth the walk.

Is the Google Business Profile included?

Setting up and optimising your Google Business Profile is part of every build. For a barbershop it is the most important piece, so we make sure the categories, hours, photos and directions are all done properly from day one.

How do I change my hours for a public holiday?

On the care plan you send us a message and we update your hours on the site and your Google listing, usually the same day. That way nobody turns up to a closed shop because Google had it wrong.

Can you put my price board online?

Yes. We lay your prices out clean and scannable, the way they sit on the wall, so people know what a cut costs before they walk in and Google can read it when they search.

Can customers book online if I want that?

If you take appointments, we link your booking tool into the site with a click-to-call button, so people can book from your page. If you are walk-in only we leave it out and make that clear instead, so nobody is confused about how to get a cut.

How long until the shop is online?

About two weeks once we have your prices, hours and a few photos. We handle the build and the Google setup, so it is a light lift on your end.
